Tell-A-Friend

Tell-A-Friend is a great way to tell your friends about the magazine you love and also earn extra months for your subscription. For every one of your friends that signs up for a one or two year subscription (for the first time), we will add a free month to your subscription. When a friend subscribes and adds your username (or full name) to the Tell-A-Friend box, you will have an extra month added to your subscription.
How do I tell my friends so I can get a free month added to my subscription?
It's very easy. All they have to do is put your username (or full name) in the Tell-A-Friend box when they subscribe here. We will keep a record and add the free months at the end of the month. This is for first time subscriptions only. Tell your friends by sending them this link and letting them know your username (or full name).
Why my username?
You need to include your username so we can identify you when your friend subscribes, and then add the free month to your subscription. Alternatively a friend can put your full name. We just need to be able to identify you.
Do you have something I can put on my blog, etc?
Yes we do. If you scroll down you will see a range of images you can put on blogs, websites, bulletin boards, email groups, signatures, etc. Here's how. Copy the HTML code below the image you want to use and paste it into the HTML on the website where you want to display it. Change the bit where it says, "your username here" to your actual username. This is the username you use to login and download the magazine. DO NOT PUT YOUR PASSWORD. If you not familiar with HTML, that's OK. There is no special code in these links so you can make up your own Tell-A-Friend text. Just make sure that it contains a link to our website (preferably the subscription page) and your username.
Where can I use the images and links?
Basically anywhere on the Internet that you can add text. You can put it on your blog, your own website if you have one (including commercial websites), or in your email signature. You can send it to bulletin boards and email groups that you are a part of. Just make sure that you are allowed because it is a form of advertising.
I'm not sure if I set up my images and link correctly. Can you check?
Sure. Just send us a help ticket with the page that the image/link is on and we'll have a look for you.
When will I get the free month?
At the end of each month we will add the free months to those accounts who were identified by first time subscribers. If you already have paid future subscriptions in your account, the free month will begin when all these have been used up first.
Any small print?
Not really, we've kept it as simple as possible. All you need to remember is this is for FIRST TIME subscribers only, not those that are renewing.
